Fall is one of my favorite times of year for family photography, especially when the leaves begin changing colors and the parks around Alexandria come alive with beautiful autumn scenery!
I recently photographed this lovely family at Dora Kelley Nature Park in Alexandria, Virginia. With its wooded trails, colorful foliage, and rocky stream, the park offered a beautiful variety of natural backdrops for our session.
We explored a few different spots throughout the park, capturing everything from family portraits on the rocks to individual photos and sweet moments between family members. I especially loved incorporating the large boulders along the stream, which added a little adventure and personality to the photos. Enjoy the photos!
