Dora Kelley Nature Park Early Fall Family Portraits

Dora Kelley Nature Park is a beautiful hidden spot for family photos in Alexandria, Virginia. With wooded trails, a stream, large rocks, and plenty of greenery, it creates a natural backdrop without having to travel far from the city.

For this family session, we explored a few areas around the park, using the creek and wooded paths for a mix of family photos, individual portraits, and photos of the kids together.

I especially love how the rocks along the water create a relaxed setting for photos, and if you’re lucky, you may even catch some beautiful reflections in the water. It’s a great setting for family photos any time of the year! Enjoy the photos!
