Tips for Hanging a Print

    • Wearing gloves when hanging your print is a great way to avoid smudges.

    • Metal Prints are easy to clean, so if you do get fingerprints on your Metal Print while hanging it, don’t worry. Use a clean, lint-free cloth to wipe off the print. Water, non-ammonia glass cleaner, or isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol can be used without harming the print surface.

    • Measure the Metal Print or Matted Print and the wall to make sure it is centered in your space.

    • Use a level to determine accurate horizontal and vertical spacing for the Metal Print or Matted Print.

    • The back of your metal print is an aluminum frame, the “light frame” that has a depth of 1 inch.

    • No wire is required to hang your metal print. You can use the top of the light frame to connect to the hardware.

    • You can also hang your Metal Print using wire. Vinyl Coated Stranded Stainless Steel Picture Wire is a good choice.

    • Your Matted Print will need to be taken to a frame shop for framing. Please discuss hanging options with the frame shop.
